Cherished Tradition Ruby Jubilee Celebration The National Education Society celebrated its 40 years of glorious existence ( Ruby Jubliee) during the year 2003-2004 . The formal inaugural function of this year long celebration was held on 14th April , 2003, at the hands of His Excellency Shri Mohd. Fazal Governor of Maharashtra. The year long celebration comprised of : Various interschool / Collegiate competitions Childrens' Rally on National Integration, patriotic feats. Seminar on Women's status jointly with Univerity of Mumbai Seminar for teachers on "Communal Harmony" at Chennai. Seminar on "Innovative Teaching Strategies" at Indian Merchants' Chamber, Mumbai. Workshop on AIDS Awareness. Medical check up (Dental, General, Eye) for school students. Cancer Detection Camps IT Fair in association with Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd. Inter School Competitions for Ddeaf School in Mumbai Value Enrichment through patriotic events. |
