Welcome to NES - High School
The school had its humble beginning in the year 1963, with only 7 children on its roll. It is a recognised English Medium co educational School and Junior College, which prepares the students for the SSC and HSC examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
Students from all sections of the society are on its roll. The aim of the school is to impart sound and efficient instruction and to inculcate in the younger generation a high sense of enlightened citizenship, discipline, character, team spirit, dedication to duty and patriotic outlook. Provision exists for the teaching of Hindi and Marathi from Std. I and Sanskrit from Std. VIII as an optional language. Arrangements have been made for teaching of Computer Science, Arts, Craft, Work Experience, Physical Education, Scouting, Guiding, Social Service, R.S.P, and N.C.C for both boys and girls. Programmes for coaching the students for various competitive examinations like National Talent Search Examination, Scholarship Examination, Govt. Drawing Grade Exams, Rashtra Bhasha and Sanskrit Exams have been taken up regularly. During the last 37 years the strength of the complex has increased rapidly from seven to well over seventeen thousand.
